As Link defeated the evil that dwelled inside the Forest Temple, Ganondorf's grip on Hyrule is beginning to loosen. But Link's quest is far from over, what Link will now do is once again rescue the Gorons. This time, they're about to become dinner themselves by a fearful dragon from the depths.

Death Mountain Trail[]
Note:Once you complete the Forest Temple, you can return to the Temple of Time at any time where Shiek will tell you that you can go back to Hyrule while Link was a child, and will teach you the warp song: The Prelude of Light.
- 1. Going up the Mountain is like it was before. Defeat the Tektites and avoid the boulders.
- 2. If you haven't obtain the heart piece before you traversed through Dodongo's Cavern. Plant a Magic Bean in a soft soil patch right next to the Cavern's entrance. It'll become a platform where you can stand on and it'll take you to the path of the heart piece.
Goron City[]
- 3. Once you reach Goron City, you'll notice that the city is deseted in save one Goron rolling around the second level of the city. This is like the one that gave you the Level 2 Bomb Bag. But this Goron si smaller, faster and more difficult to target. Plant Bombs to make him stop rolling, once he stops rolling, he'll talk to you, and then start crying thinking about his fellow Gorons and the Dragon Volvagia. First, talk about Volvagia and then talk about what happened to the Gorons. The Goron will give you a Goron Tunic which will give you immunity to very hot areas.
- 4. One you have the Goron Tunic, pull the statue in Darunia's room out and give way to a quick path to the next area: Death Mountain Crater.

Death Mountain Crater[]
Warning: This area is very hot, in fact so hot that you'll be timed before Link falls from the extreme heat (the time limit will be determined on how much health Link has currently). If you have the Goron Tunic, this will make you immune to intense heat.
- 5. Use your Hookshot to corss the broken part of the bridge.
- 6. Once you cross the bridge, you'll meet up with Shiek again who'll teach you the Bolero of Fire, the Warp Song that'll take you to this srea.
- 7. Head north and climb down a long ladder that'll take you to the Fire Temple.
